We passed CC here in our state of Alabama, after I renewed my carry permit for 5 years. Go figure. I guess it will help when traveling out of state. All of my surrounding states have reciprocity. Is your state a CC state?

in 9 days we will be a CC state, I had a lifetime Concealed Permit so it doesn't really matter to me but good to see the 2A not getting destroyed here.

What state are you in? I do believe CC will help root our 2A a little more.

Fellow Alabamian here, so yes...soon to be in law anyway. 1 Jan '23 goes in to effect iirc

Yeah, it doesn’t go into effect until 2023. Still a good move for our state though!

I feel your pain @91bravo and @dv8r since I am just about halfway through my permit life on the 5 year one. I'll probably get a lifetime renewal just for out of state travel reasons.
